Maz created this artwork in 2023 in response to an ArtCan submission inspired by Italo Calvino’s book invisible cities. Nine different cities described in the book are represented through the grid of tactile squares.
The artwork is part of a two part exhibition ‘Transparent as a Dragonfly’ which is a collaboration between ArtCan and Arte Borgo. The first exhibition ran from 5th- 18th October at Arte Borgo in Rome, and the second ran from 4-9th March 2024 at Bermondsey Project Space.
